President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fimrite has been a self-employed entrepreneur for in excess of 40 years. His principal activity for the past 25 years has been focused on rubber recycling and other environmental initiatives. Mr. Fimrite has extensive experience in real estate development, operations management, oil and gas exploration and production, corporate reorganization, financial administration, financial systems design, general management, public company administration, data processing, auditing and business education. Elroy has a business degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, was a professional management accountant and has extensive experience in Management, Planning and Control of Information Systems.

Commencing in 1996, Elroy became involved in the tire recycling industry, founding a company that acquired rights to a unique commercially viable devulcanization technology. During the past five years Elroy and his team have developed advanced versions of the technology to produce multiple engineered elastomers for application in different market segments and has developed a fully automated high volume production facility. Elroy has developed a unique network of business relationships throughout the USA, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and China. He is recognized as an international expert in rubber recycling and has been a member of ETRA, the European Tyre Recycling Association for most of the past twenty years.

Carl is a senior executive with over forty years marketing and upper management experience in both private and public companies.  As a successful entrepreneur, Carl founded three start-up companies, developed and maximized their value, sold two of them and took the third company public. As founder, CEO, President and Chairman of Homeowners Association of America, Carl directed the development of the largest member association in the real estate industry with 27,000 realty firms and 247,000 sales agents, participating in one in every four resale homes sold in America.

Through the application of integrated distribution channels, Carl directed the business model resulting in generating in excess of $200 million in revenues annually. Carl was also founder and CEO of two offshore captive insurance companies and a publicly traded United Kingdom Marketing Firm.  As CEO of a multi-national company, Carl created innovative insurance products that gained number one market status. Carl brings a great deal of experience to the Board, having served (and currently serving) serving on the boards of: Inc. (1997-Present-public NYSE), Landstar Inc., C.I.S. UK, Ultra Strip Inc., Netstaff Inc., CeleXx Corp., Inc, SeaPlanes Inc., and PhyloMed Inc.

Jim graduated with a B.S. from California State College, and continued his education with Thomas Jefferson University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree. Jim was President of Nu Beta Epsilon, National Legal Honorary Society, and was awarded American Jurisprudence Awards for Torts and Trial Practice. Jim continued his education with the Veteran Affairs Outreach Program, San Diego State University and completed an Executive MBA Program at Pepperdine University. Jim had an extensive career in the United States Marine Corps where he was decorated for Valor in Combat.

Jim retired with the rank of Captain, and his service included; Basic MOS/Infantry Officer, Company Commander, Infantry Training Regiment, Camp Pendleton, CA/Camp Lejeune, NC, Liaison/Intelligence Officer to initial Vietnamese relocation to Camp Pendleton, CA, Legal Administrative Officer Staff Judge Advocate, Camp Lejeune, NC, General Aide-de-Camp to, General Hugh Hardy and General Paul Godfrey, U.S. Naval Justice School, First Marine Division Association, Third Marine Division Association and Disabled American Veterans. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Jim has worked as a consultant and advisor to emerging growth companies in the technology and construction industries.  In that capacity, Jim has provided advice regarding strategic planning and capital structure, in addition to linking the companies to key personnel.  In addition to his involvement with these business ventures, Jim is an author, whose works include the short story “In Search of Heroes.”

Ian graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc. and the University of Alberta receiving a DDS in 1970. Ian practiced dentistry until 1977 and then attended Boston University and received a Specialist Certificate in Periodontics in 1979. Ian has been in private clinical practice until his recent retirement. Ian has served as President of the B.C. Society of Periodontists, President of the Victoria and District Dental Society, Specialist Examiner College of Dental Surgeons of B.C., served on numerous provincial committees including Chairman of Government Liaison, Peer Review, Legislation and Provincial Convention Chairman.

Ian has received the Provincial Certificate of Merit and holds membership in the American College of Dentists. Ian’s extensive community involvement includes Chairman of the Leadership Division of the United Way, Chairman of the Arthritis Golf Tournament for 8 years, Captain and President of the Victoria Golf Club 1997 – 2000 and as a significant contributor to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation. Ian has been involved in the hospitality business since 1986, as a partner and developer of Spinnakers Brew Pub and Guesthouses, as an owner and developer of five properties adjacent to the Victoria inner harbor, and in development of both Brentwood Bay Resort and Spa and Brentwood retail liquor store. Commencing in 2001 Ian has been an active participant and significant investor in the rubber devulcanization technology and has served on the board of directors of Landstar Inc.and SNRG Corporation.





Vice President of Finance & Compliance

Mark is a proven management professional with over 24 years of experience in business development sales, marketing and finance. Mark has worked as a professional business consultant helping companies in the areas of Business Development, Marketing, Finance, Risk Mitigation and Loss Prevention. In 1996 Mark Co-founded Insource Associates A Charlotte based consulting firm with an emphasis in loss prevention and risk management.

Mark was involved in the management and development of business risk mitigation and loss prevention programs for companies ranging from midsize to fortune 500 companies, Some of Mark's clients have included Tyco Electronics, Kia Motors, and several GM affiliated companies. He also has a certification or designation as a workplace safety professional WSP designation. CMP certification



Vice President of Investor Relations

Don Carroll has a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Arizona State University and spent more than 20 successful years as a partner/owner of LeBaron & Carroll Insurance. During his tenure as president, the insurance agency grew tenfold. He has also held ownership positions and been critical in the development of other companies in other industries including mortgage, agribusiness, emergency response, energy/oil, software development, IT services, real estate, payroll services, and insurance premium finance.

Don obtained the CPCU designation (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and continues to work as an insurance/risk management consultant   developing programs to help business owners with the ever growing problems of data breach and cyber liability.  Don served as a board member for East Valley Bank and the Mesa United Way.  Don is fluent in Spanish.



Vice President of Investor Relations

Carl completed a B.S. Chemistry from Harding University in 1985 and Completed his Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1990. Carl has a very strong applications knowledge in Plastics, Rubber, Elastomers, Polymers and Nanotechnology. Carl founded McAfee Consulting in 1996 providing independent consulting services to the Chemical and Polymer industries. Previously, he worked as Technical Director for Chase Elastomer Corporation and as Project Leader for Dow Chemical in Polyurethane application development in Polyurethane chemistry, Polymer science and foams.

Carl also worked at the Fritz-Haber Institute der Max Planck Gesselschaft in Berlin on applications of Field Ion Microscopy and Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry and at U.S. Borax Corporation on applications of Atomic Absorption of Precious Metals. Carl’s specific areas of expertise is in analytical chemistry, polymer development, thermoplastic elastomers, nanotechnology and application development. Carl holds several patents and has published numerous papers.



Vice President of Manufacturing

Don is a senior manufacturing manager with 25 years of management experience in the rubber reclaiming/devulcanization industry. Don received a Bachelor of Public Administration in accounting degree from MS State University and completed an MBA degree Summa Cum Laude at Centenary College in Shreveport LA. Don served twenty years with US Rubber Reclaiming, a unique company with corporate roots dating back to the 1800’s and was the last survivor of the many reclaiming companies that operated in the US following WWII. Don served initially as CFO and then for many years as President of USRR.

He directly participated in all aspects of management, manufacturing and sales of hundreds of millions of pounds of devulcanized reclaim rubber. As President, Don had primary sales responsibility and direct contact with major US tire companies including Goodyear, Michelin, Cooper and Titan Tires plus numerous other rubber industry companies. Don’s experience at USRR included extensive knowledge of various methods and technology related to rubber size reduction, rubber processing and thermos-mechanical devulcanization. Management responsibility included up to $20 MM annual budgets, 120 FTE employees and production /sales of over 3 million pounds of reclaim rubber per month.



Vice President of Engineering

Mr. McGinnis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and a Master’s of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.  From 1972 to 1995, Mr. McGinnis was employed by Imperial Oil Limited, an affiliate of Exxon Corporation, in Canada. During this period, he served in various positions in both upstream and downstream divisions including three Refinery Manager positions, Manager of Planning in Downstream and Corporate divisions, Manager of Refining Services including all engineering, construction, safety and environmental services for the downstream division. 

He also served as a Design Supervisor with Exxon Research and Engineering Company and Manager of Supply Coordination for Exxon Company International. In 1995, he joined TransAmerican Refining Company (subsequently Orion Refining Corporation) in Norco Louisiana as Vice President-Manufacturing and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer. This company developed and executed a Refinery refurbishment and US$1 billion expansion project for a 160,000 BPD Refinery. In 2001, Mr. McGinnis established his own consulting company and provided services to major oil sands projects in Canada and to the gas and oil refining industries.


Over the past four years he has acted as an advisor to a number of companies on major refinery project developments, and has performed technology evaluations for several gas-to-liquids technologies. He is currently an advisor to two projects being developed for these technologies.  He is a recognized leader in the refining industry and has appeared on Bloomberg, CNBC and at many industry conferences as a featured speaker.  Glenn’s extensive experience in handling chemical materials and in modular processing systems design and installation provide valuable depth to the company facility development.






Vice President of Business Development - MENA LLC

Adam have been working with EF Global Group in various consulting capacities since 2006 as the Vice President of Business Development serving in New York City, Kuwait, Dubai and Egypt. Previously, Adam owned and operated Brooklyn Gate Consulting & General Trading a company established for out-sourcing and representing specialized products and materials in Europe, Asia and North America. Brooklyn Gate represents manufacturers or supplies machinery, heavy equipment and construction materials for construction projects in various regions primarily in the MENA region.

Adam also has over thirty years of experience in the hospitality industry in New York City and Egypt as a restaurant owner and food and beverage consultant. His experience in networking and establishing connections between businesses has allowed him to flourish in business development and construction project management, bridging the gap for industrial companies between the United States, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt & China.



Vice President of Sales & Marketing - Asia

Mr. Deng has been associated with the principals of EFG for over 15 years and has a long career with many valuable relationships in the Chinese rubber industry, particularly in Shandong province, the heart of the Chinese Rubber industry. Born in Jinan, Shandong, China, Barry graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Qinghua University, Beijing. Barry furthered his studies with programs at Dunlop in England, BASF in Germany and courses in marketing and business management from UCLA. Barry had an extensive career with the Shandong Petro-Chemical Industrial Bureau as Vice Manager of the Foreign Economic and Trade Department.

Barry was responsible for study and approval of feasibility studies in the Petrochemical industry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and rubber processing industry. Barry followed this with terms at Guangrao General Chemical Plant where he managed the plant expansion from 100,000 MT to 500,000 MT per year and at Shandong Chemical Import and Export Corp where he managed the purchase of equipment and technology from Dow Chemical, Union Carbide, Goodyear and many other international companies. Barry will also be responsible for development and management of the Technical Support center EFG is establishing in Dong Ying City to assist customers in adapting rubber compound formulations to incorporate EFG products.
